1. The promoters are RAGT Seeds Ltd (company no. 05148203), hereafter referred to as “RAGT UK”, whose registered office is at RAGT Seeds Ltd, Grange Road, Ickleton, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1TA, and ProCam, (company no. 02371155), whose registered office is at 2030 Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne, Cambridge, CB23 6DW. 

2. The competition is open to individuals currently operating in the UK territory as farmers, who must also be residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. The competition is not open to employees of RAGT UK or ProCam and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via the RAGT stand and ProCam stand at the Cereals Show 2025. One winner will be randomly selected the day after the closing date.

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. The competition will run from 08:30 GMT on 11th June 2025. Closing date for entry will be on Thursday 12th June 2025 at 17:00 (GMT). After the dates and time specified in these Terms, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as detailed on the competition entry forms both in paper and online. For the entry to be valid, the entrant must fill in the paper form provided at the event and put it in the box provided or fill in the form linked via the QR code on the competition promotional materials at the event, before Thursday 12th June at 17:00 GMT. The winner will be picked at random from all valid entries. Prizes are as specified on these terms and conditions.

10. The promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

12. The prize is as follows: 

Free seeds for one of the following RAGT varieties, as chosen by the winner but subject to availability (if no availability, a different variety will be offered): RGT Hexton (Winter Wheat), RGT Goldfinch (Winter Wheat), RGT Skyfall (Winter Wheat), RGT Dempsey (Winter Oat), RGT Blackmoon (Oilseed Rape). The winner will be provided with the maximum quantity of their chosen variety as follows: winter wheat varieties up to 2 tonnes; Winter Oat variety up to 1.5 tonnes, Oilseed Rape variety up to 3 packs. 

AND

A free ProCam FieldSense Variable Rate Seeding (up to 25ha) plus consultation.  

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 

13. If the winner chooses a variety currently distributed under a royalty scheme, the winner agrees to sign up to that royalty scheme and abide by any applicable rules should the winner decide to save the seed or grow the variety in the future. 

14. Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all valid entries received and verified by the promoters and or their agents.

15. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. The winner will only ever be contacted by marketinguk@ragt.fr. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

16. The winner accepts to share their full name, email, phone number, address and any other information necessary to the administration of the competition with the promoters. The information will be exclusively used for the purpose of delivering the prize and will thereafter be deleted from the promoters’ records unless the winner has given consent to be contacted by one or both of the promoters in the future.

17. The promoters’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
